Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy (OT) is treatment with the goal to help people achieve independence, meaning and satisfaction in all aspects of their lives with the therapeutic use of self-care, work, and recreational activities to increase independent function, enhance development, and prevent disability. This may include adaptation of tasks or environment to achieve maximum independence and optimal quality of life where providing services for individuals at risk of developing or has suffered an illness, injury, disease, disorder, condition impairment, disability, activity limitation or participation restrictions. Occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts to support engagement in everyday life activities that affect health, well-being, and quality of life. Our therapists are trained in the latest techniques and exhibit areas of expertise in Neurological Disorders and Sensory Integration treatment.
